This is a design for a Popup shop for a new product which is currently in the funding phase. The product is Airfan, and it is an all-in-one smart fan. It has over 10 functions, including a purifier, a fan, a heater, a light, bluetooth, alexa, an alarm, and more. It can go above your bed or sofa, and is about 3 feet long by 6 inches high.
This Popup is designed to provide an experience for users, and it allows them to test out the various features of the device. The space is organized from light blue when you walk in, to dark blue when you leave. The functions are organized in a circular path from start to finish, and mimic a typical day. You begin in the morning testing out the alarm clock, when it is bright, light, and open. This is evident by the high ceilings and the light blue color. Then, you test out the purifier, the fan and the heater, while the ceiling begins to lower and the blues get darker. You end the sequence testing out the bluetooth, and the space is darker and more compressed. |
Client/Founder: Woodruff Archibald Gaul
Age 37 Founded Airfan January 2020 Wilmington, DE “Over the years, I have worked in many industries, I realized I only worked for paychecks, rather than my dream. So I took off and started my own workshop four years ago. Fortunately, I was able to connect to an angel investor, and grow fast. Our team was built and shared the same vision. We’re simply a group of people want to change the way people live, even if it’s just a tiny bit of changes.” Gaul wanted people to fall in love with his product by being able to experience the main functions it offers. In the promotional Pop Up, he wanted there to be a separate space for each of the functions and he wanted the experience overall to be unique and memorable.
