This was a conceptual project in which one of the requirements was to showcase the clients’ collection of completed puzzles somewhere in the space. The space needed to be ADA compliant, as the client's family member was paralyzed from the waist down.
The concept for the layout was to mimic puzzle pieces with their combination of curved and jagged edges. The focal point is the rounded suspended ceiling in the center of the apartment with the rest of the space orbiting around it. Various other shapes will be used throughout the design to echo the varied shapes found in puzzle pieces. |
